Jess Cox has written string arrangements for bands and singer/songwriters such as S G Lewis, Terry Hall, The Specials, Band of Skulls, Ocean Colour Scene, Tom Toomey (The Zombies), PP Arnold, Spiritualized and Tom Hickox.  In 2015 Jess wrote string arrangements for Ocean Colour Scene’s 25th anniversary tour for her group ‘Q Strings’ to perform alongside the band as they toured the UK’s leading concert halls. She also has arranged numerous pop songs for her electric/acoustic group ‘Q Strings’ http://www.qstringsmusic.com

As co- musical director of ‘The Rock Orchestra‘ Jess has arranged numerous heavy metal and rock tracks for a unique 13 piece orchestra (London Symphonic Rock Orchestra), combining live drums and guitar fx pedals alongside orchestral instruments. songs include System of The Down ‘Chop Suey’, White Stripes ‘Seven Nation Army’ and Evanescence’ ‘Bring Me To Life.’

Loved arranging strings for S G Lewis’ ‘Fall’ and ‘Heartbreak On The Dance Floor’ for his live stream album launch of ‘Times’ and being invited to play with him with Q Strings. Feb 2021
